Fargo based Scheels Corporation expanded its corporate offices to accommodate fantastic growth over the last several years. They elected to lease and renovate three existing buildings facing the I-94 corridor to meet their needs. ZCON was hired to provide construction management services for Scheels in what became an 8-phase remodel and relocation over 14 months. The remodel required constant vigilance of crews and materials, and intensive coordination with the Owner’s team. ZCON’s project managers and supervisors provided high levels of service to ensure the project was finished successfully.
The existing 45th Street office space needed to be expanded and remodeled as well to provide additional wood shop space, new store operations offices, employee break rooms, storage space and additional retail space. These concurrent renovations and addition requires even greater coordination to ensure store operations remain uninterrupted. New features of the store include an additional freight elevator, additional passenger elevator, enhanced structure for storage, a relocated and renovated restaurant and extended remodeling.
